T'was the night before Christmas and all through the Ridge
Not a creature was stirring not even a kid.
The GMS was hung high on level 3.
The night-watch patrolled while the group was asleep.
Staff was all nestled all snug in their beds
while visions of huddles danced in their heads.
Chief Amber in room 7
Chief Tricia in room 4
They had turned out the lights
and locked all the doors.
When in front of the cottage arose such a clatter
Supervisors called down to see what the matter.
The staff and kids were peeking outside
to see Santa going on a 4-wheeler ride.
The reindeer and elves had walkies and keys
and Santa strangely resembled Chief Jeremy
With the 4-wheeler driver driving insane
I knew in a moment it was Chief Jeff Caine
The staff were all huddling around the sleigh,
as Santa began to call them by name.
Now Chief Crystal, Now Chief Tiffany, Chief Joal , and Chief Jay
On Chief Tammi, on Chief Ira, Chief Jessica, and Chief Ray
To the top of the cottage then on to 3 and 4
then down the hill where Diagnostics snore.
They made their rounds up on the hill
passing out gifts with finesse and skill
past the triangle they went and down to Comanche
handing out toys and games and stockings with candy.
And then, when they finished, to the circle they went
exhausted from the effort and time they had spent
gathering around the flag pole now
they ran an eval for a staff powwow
Comments and compliments were given about
Chief Cody stood up for speaking out.
Last but not Least Chief Tim Bauman started his speech
handing out compliments and shirts to each.
His eyes how they twinkled when telling an old story
the staff all laughed while he basked in the glory
His positive words were said in the parking lot light
"Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night"
"Merry Christmas "

Games :)
Our class assignment today was to find genres that our topics and our CSO's fit under. SO I have come to the conclusion that the best genres that my topics would fall under would be GENRE 2 role playing game, and GENRE 6 Educational games. My topics are STD's and Disasters so I feel that it would really open people's eyes by showing them the effect of these situations on people and their surroundings.

Diseases
Sexually Transmitted Diseases, what do you think about that? That's the problem not a lot of people do. That's awful. Everyday someone new is getting diagnosed with some sort of STD because they can't stop to take the time to put on a condom. Really? Would you rather stop for maybe 30 seconds to put on a condom and avoid STDs or keep going and end up with something as severe as AIDS, or even something like HPV or syphilis? Then you can give it to other people. A lot of the times people may not even have symptoms.

I got Soul but I'm not a soldier....
Have you ever heard of the song I got soul but I'm not a soldier? It talks about how hard it is on kids in some many different places having to fight for there freedom everyday. Today In Mr. Garvin's class we watched a video about our troops. Our President Barack Obama wants to keep our troops for up to nine more years and send 30,000 more overseas. What is this world coming to? Everyday we have more and more of our loved ones leaving us to fight for our freedom. I am very grateful that they are fighting to give us protection, and I want to join the National Guard in the next couple of years but this has to stop somewhere. Our troops are getting killed. Some women with their husbands overseas, are scared to answer their own phones. Scared to death that they will get that one dreadful phone call. When is this madness going to end?
I SUPPORT THE TROOPS :)

We read his blog in Mr. Garvin's class and he knew exactly what to do. So Thank You whoever you are! In Mr. Garvin's class we were to pick two topics that we wanted to research and my two topics were AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and My other topic is Disasters for example Hurricane Katrina. Well I've got some research to do so I'll have to write more later :)

My Weekend
So I woudl like to tell you about my weekend. It was okay. I had to sit on Campus away from my family yet again, but things still went well. On Saturday It was Cheif Amber, Chief Jarred, and Chief Jessica. After breakfast we carved pumpkins for our group building project. My pumpkin looked awesome. Then we made lunch. Haha we had breakfast for lunch as well. After lunch we did bedroom extensives that took approximately 15 minutes. After bedroom extensives We played basketball. I had a lot of fun playing basketball because we never get the chance to play. Some of my peers can't handle playing basketball because they begin to get physically agressive. After playing basketball for about an hour we went back to the cottage to get showers and dinner. We had CHILI for dinner!!! After dinner we done our chores, and some of the girls watched Eight Legged Freaks while I made some bomb no-bake cookies. On Sunday Chief Cody was with us. After breakfast and group building project we made lunch. We had CHILI.. and Ramen Noodles. We all ran around screaming CHILI!!!!! it was hilarious. After lunch we went to the park and played volleyball, my team won :) We then went for a "drive", lol Chief Cody drove in circles. Then we swung on the swing set. Then we went back up to campus. We came in and got the cornhole set, and played. It was fun. After playing cornhole we went back to the cottage and done our menu for next weekend. I am pumped we're having peanut butter cake bars. YUMMY :) After menu we done cottage extensives and prepared dinner. Dinner was really good. We had round steak, mashed potatoes, and I had Ramen Noodles with it. It was good. We was able to sit around the table and joke around. We talked about Jeff Dunham the ventriliquest, and his puppet Achmed. lol. After Dinner everyone started rolling back in and we ate some more Awesome no-bakes. Made by whom? "ME", that's why they were great. We got to Bed at 8:45. Talk about freaking awesome :)

Well not really considering Nike Forces are my favorite shoes. Creating my stock portfolio was a little frustrating at first but when I was able to finally look up stocks of my own to look up it got fun. Well I'm going to go for now. I'll write more later :)

I can honestly say that this is my first time ever even creating a blog. I think it is very interesting to be able to have a live on-line journal.
